Christine Bevins

Christine Rigling Bevins, born February 12, 1950 in Butler County, Ohio to the late Ralph and Elsie Hunkler Rigling, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Florence, KY at the age of 68. She is survived by her sons, Brian and his wife, Maria of Dry Ridge, KY, Keith Bevins of Villa Hills; her daughter, Denise Arlinghaus and her husband, Jared of Ft. Mitchell, KY; four grandchildren, Tyler, Annabel, Sophia and Ethan; a brother, Greg Rigling and his wife, Marcia of Butler County, Ohio; a sister, Cindee Walsh and her husband, Jim of Cincinnati, Ohio. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Bevins was a teacher/librarian in Kenton County and at Covington Holmes High School. In her spare time she volunteered for Catholic Charities. Most recently she was employed as a test scorer with Data Recognition Corporation. She enjoyed going to the many community theatres, garage sales, thrift shopping, caring for her grandchildren and grand dogs.

A memorial service to honor Christine’s life will be held at 11:00AM, on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY. 41017. A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine’s memory are suggested to the American Cancer Society and/or the Kenton County Animal Shelter in c/o Middendorf Funeral Home.
