Hetty Jo Harms Thomas

Hetty Jo Harms Thomas (Nee Wintermeyer), age 78, of Lakeside Park, KY and temporary resident of Margaritaville, returned to her heavenly father on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Nickle slots were her game and desserts brought her fame. She rocked high hems, high heels and high standards. Among her many accomplishments was a Life Director of the Home Builders Association of Ky and NAHB, member of the Society of Honored Associates and member of HBA of Ky Hall of Fame. A woman of strong convictions and even stronger penance, she will be greatly missed by her husband, Stephen Thomas of 19 years; children, Virginia (Joe) Berberich, Victoria (Scott) Campbell, Donald T. Harms, Valerie L. Harms, David (Aimee) Harms, Douglas T. Harms, Daniel (Amanda) Harms; step-daughter,  Stephanie L. Thomas;  16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Hedwig Wintermeyer and 3 infant children. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pike Ft. Wright, KY 41017) from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning Friday, August 31, 2018 at Mother of God Church (Covington, KY) beginning at 12:05 PM.  Interment will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery (Latonia, KY).  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to Mother of God Cemetery and/or UC Foundation for Parkinson's Research c/o Dr. Alberto Espay (P.O. Box 19970 Cincinnati, OH 45219).
