Ralph Joseph Schuler

Ralph J. Schuler, Sr., 85, of Villa Hills, KY died peacefully Monday, January 1, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood with family at his side. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and UC Engineering Technical College. He was a retired packaging engineer with R.A. Jones, an Army veteran, and devoted family man. Ralph enjoyed fishing, baseball, woodworking, gardening in his yard, and most of all spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his infant son, John Schuler; granddaughter, Stephanie Arlinghaus; brothers, Ray Schuler and Robert Schuler. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Theresa Dressman Schuler; son, Ralph (Shawn) Schuler, Jr.; daughters, Maria (Kevin) Molony, Dianne (Jim) Brannen, Janet (Tony) Pemberton, and Joan (Bob) Arlinghaus; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Joseph Church in Crescent Springs, KY from 11:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 12 noon. Interment will take place at Mother of God Cemetery on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11 AM. Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pk. Fort Wright, KY 41017) is serving the family. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Dr., Edgewood, KY 41017 or Holy Cross High School, 3617 Church Street, Covington, KY 41015.
