Geraldine "Gerry" Burgess

Geraldine "Gerry" Burgess (nee Dressman), 84, of Villa Hills, KY passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Highland Spring of Ft. Thomas.  Gerry grew up in Ft. Mitchell, KY, the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Dressman and much loved sister of the late Ronald Dressman, Evelyn Carney (Gene) and Dennis Dressman (Melanie).She was a proud graduate of Notre Dame Academy and during her time there developed a love for the Sisters of Notre Dame which lasted her entire life and inspired her to become an SND Associate. After her marriage to the late Ronald "Bugs" Burgess, she moved to Villa Hills and became an active member of St. Joseph Church Crescent Springs, KY where she sang with the choir and after her  retirement from Tillman Furniture and St. Joseph Heights she helped at St. Joseph's School Cafeteria.  Gerry was the loving mother of Amy Henry (Drew), and loving grandmother of Colin, Madeliene, Trevor, Tessa and Abra. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at Middendorf Funeral Home Ft. Wright.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph Church Crescent Springs at 12:00 P.M.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery Ft. Mitchell.
