Theodore Anthony Brzinski

Ted (Teddy Bear) Brzinski went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 10, 2017 two weeks shy of his 79th  birthday.  He is survived by his sons, Ted (Joanne), Tony (Mary), and Ed (Cathy); grandsons, Ted III, (Leorah), Josh, Benjamin (Jennifer), Christopher (Morgan), Simon and Will.  He has 5 great grandchildren, Emmie, Lincoln, Sloane, Juniper & Isaac.  He is also survived by his loving brother, Leonard (Lori) Brzinski nephews, Len and Jeff, and other family members and friends.  He was proceeded in death by his parents Stella (nee Tarala) and Leo Brzinski,.  Though Ted and Carol (Richard) went their separate ways, she remained dear to his heart.  Ted was a Navy veteran who served on the USS Tutuila.  He was honorable discharged in 1959.  He held a variety of jobs until he found his niche as an Engineer for the B&O (now CSX) Railroad where he worked for 38 years.  Ted’s favorite hobbies were golf, fishing, woodworking, Cubs Baseball and Bears Football. Post stroke, Ted’s favorite things became cookies, ice cream and kissing hands – maybe not necessarily in that order, and still the Cubs and Bears.  Ted loved life.  Even after his stroke, he found a way to show his love, whether you received a kiss on the hand, a smile, or his ever popular “Teddy, Teddy, Teddy” when anyone would say “Hi Teddy”.  He will be missed, but knowing that he is safe in the Lord’s loving arms gives us joy and peace.  He is no longer constrained by the limitations of his earthly vessel.  Go Teddy Go!!!  Visitation will be held at Madonna Manor Friday, September 15th from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Burial to follow at KY Veteran’s Cemetery North.  In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Madonna Manor 2344 Amsterdam Road, Villa Hills, KY 41017.  Middendorf Funeral Home is serving the family.  Online condolences may be made at Middendorf-funeralhome.com
