David P. Thompson, age 48, of Independence, KY passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospice on Monday, June 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Thompson (2008). David is survived by his parents, Doug and Harriet Thompson of Independence, KY; brother, Tim Thompson (Renee); sister, Shari Leonardi (Travis); nephew, Anthony Leonardi and niece, Christina Leonardi. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, KY from 10 AM until the Funeral Service begins at 12 noon. Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice of St. Elizabeth 483 S Loop Rd. Edgewood, KY 41017.
