Mary Diane Allen, age 54, of Florence, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Diane was a member of St. Barbara Parish; she was very dedicated to the church and enjoyed organizing and working their festivals. Diane loved animals, especially her cats, and loved to garden. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard and Elizabeth Hellmann and Ferd and Marie Raterman. Diane is survived by her loving daughter, Kendall Allen; siblings, Barbara Hellmann, Jim Hellmann (Barb) and David Hellmann (Kim); parents, Ronald and Martha Hellmann; former husband, Scott Allen; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at St. Barbara Church from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 12 noon. Interment will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Redwood School 71 Orphanage Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 and/or Kenton County Animal Shelter 1020 Mary Laidley Rd, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
