Bernard Earl “Barney” Wedding, age 82, of Erlanger, KY passed away peacefully on May 19, 2017 surrounded by his family. Barney was a retired bakery technician; he worked at many small bakeries around the area and Butternut Bread before traveling the country working for ADM. He also bravely served our country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Barney was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Della Wedding; brother, Lawrence Wedding; sisters, Della Long and Marlene McAllister. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Beverly Sue Wedding (nee Bramlage); daughters, Tina Wedding, Brenda Wedding and Donna Moore (Jeff); sisters, Joyce Wagner and Norma Jean Mardis; grandchildren, Michelle Keener (Alex) and Bryan Lump. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption from 9 AM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
