Raymond B. Knochelman

Raymond B. Knochelman, 95 of years of age longtime resident of Park Hills, passed away Wednesday April 19,2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Jane Knochelman (nee Schlarman). Loving father of Nancy Noel Zimmerman, David Knochelman, Mark Knochelman, ans the late Scott Knochelman. Loving grandpa of Chris Noel, Amy Rennekamp, Maribeth O’Brien, Jeff Knochelman, and Kara Knochelman. Loving great grandpa of Austin, Ashley, and Luke. Dear brother of Rosie Fischer, Alma Fricke, Rita Wagner, Ruth Manning, and Louise Vogelpohl. Ray was an Army Air Corp WWII Veteran and a founding member of the Park Hills Volunteer Fire Department, and Assistant Fire Chief Emeritus . Ray was a carpenter with Votel Contractors. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at St. Agnes Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00pm. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery. Middendorf Funeral home in Ft. Wright is handeling the arrangements.
