George H Kruempelman

George H. Kruempelman, age 87, of Lakeside Park, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.  He worked at the Ivory Dale Food Plant Process, and lastly the Crisco Oil refinery as a foot technician.  George bravely served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War; he even earned honors as the top soldier in his unit’s basic training program. George was an avid scratch golfer, and shared the love of the game with his son Jeff, his brother Jack, his sister Carol and many friends.  George was a long time member of Blessed Sacrament parish.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Ann Kruempelman in 2013.  George is survived by his children, Mary Beth Kruempelman and Jeff Kruempelman (Cindy); brother, Jack Kruempelman; sister, Carol Kruempelman and many dear friends.  Visitation will take place on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Church from 9 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10 AM.  Entombment will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery.  Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pk.
