John L. Flach

March 11, 1930 — March 21, 2017

John L. Flach, age 87, of Edgewood, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 with his family by his side. John was the loving husband of over 62 years to Lois Kleinman Flach. He was the loving father of Patti Catton, Sue Flach, Jim (Karen) Flach, Terri DeYong, Carolyn (Joe) Theis, Kathy (Ron) Brunot, and Bob (Kris) Flach. He also leaves behind his sisters, Lois Rolfsen and Nancy (Tony) Gallo and brother, Ted Flach. John was the loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanine Flach; sister, Audrey (Don) Petroze and his parents Edna and Louis Flach. John served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He then worked as a Brick Contractor and owned Flach Bros. Masonry. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Saint Pius X Church 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Saint John Cemetery, in Ft. Mitchell. Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright is assisting the family. Memorials are suggested to Saint Pius X Church or to a donation of your choice.
