William Joseph “Bill” McGee, age 86, of Edgewood, passed away on Thursday, January 05, 2017. Bill was the loving husband to Tessie McGee for over 54 years. Loving father of William J. McGee Jr. (Anne), James P. McGee (Christine), Steven M. McGee (Randi), and David B. McGee. Beloved grandfather of Sam, Jack, Teddy, Patrick, Sean, Hannah, Warren, Michael, Catherine, Audrey, and Nicolas; he was the proud uncle of several nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by father Edmund McGee, mother Mary McGee, brother, Edmund McGee, sister, Marjorie Faucon, and brother, Thomas McGee. He attended Bellevue High School and Thomas More College. After, graduating from Thomas More College he earned his MBA from Xavier University. Bill worked for many years in Insurance Sales and Marketing. He was a long time member of Saint Pius X Catholic Church. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Saint Pius X Church 348 Dudley Pike, Edgewood, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Mother of God Cemetery, in Ft. Wright. Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials have been suggested to: Covington Catholic High School 1600 Dixie Highway, Park Hills, KY 41011.
