Phillip Edward Blattmann

Phillip E. Blattmann, age 93, passed away on December 27, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Blattmann (nee Vogt), and his sister, Martha Jo Tharp (Blattmann). Phillip was a loving father to Debi Blattmann, Gary Blattmann (Lynn), Kim Book (Rick), and Cheryl Blattmann. Loving grandfather to Scott and Tiffany Budd, Kaitlyn and Jacob Book. Phillip was a World War II Navy veteran, and served on the battleship USS New Jersey in the South Pacific. His career as a wireman at Westinghouse spanned more than 35 years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament parish. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 30, 2016 at MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME (3312 Madison Pike Ft. Wright, KY 41017) from 11 AM until the funeral service begins at 12 noon. Interment will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Ft. Wright, KY. Family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Point/ARC of Northern Kentucky 104 W Pike Street Covington, KY 41011.
