Alice Marie Lewin

Alice Marie Lewin, age 86, of Crestview Hills, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Jack Lewin for over 63 years. Loving mother of Dave Lewin (Ann), Cheryl Gordon-Farmer, Jan Lewin, and Doug Lewin (Elyse). Dear sister of Sr. Henrietta Seiler OSB and Margaret Heyl. Alice was the loving grandmother of Sarah, Matthew, Brian, Robbie, Christy, Joey, Ashley, Nicholas, Nathan, Amanda, Rachael, and Phillip. She also leaves behind 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Henrietta Seiler, her sisters, Katherine Nestheide and Helen Lunn and her brother, Fr. John Seiler. Alice was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in 1948. She then went to Saint Elizabeth Nursing School and worked and retired from Saint Elizabeth Hospital. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and most of all, her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling and tennis and was an avid card player. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Saint Pius X Church 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 7:00 p.m. Private burial at Saint John Cemetery, in Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to: Notre Dame Academy 1601 Dixie Highway, Park Hills, KY 41011 and Saint Walburg Monastery 2500 Amsterdam Road, Villa Hills, KY.
