Joseph Gerrard Raker Jr. age 72, of Edgewood, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Joseph was the loving husband of Diane Raker (nee Bailey). Loving father of Jennifer Martin (Kirk), Geoffrey Raker (Terry), Tara Hargett (Nick). Dear brother of Margaret Knorr and Neal Raker. Loving grandfather of Samantha, Elliot, and Evan. He is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Joseph Raker. Joseph was an Insurance Agent for over 40 years and he enjoyed golf, sports, the Cincinnati Reds and reading. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Saint Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Pike, Edgewood, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 7:00 p.m. Burial at Saint Stephen Cemetery, in Ft. Thomas. Memorials are suggested to: Saint Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017 or to the Parish Kitchen P.O. Box 1234, Covington, KY 41012.
