Patricia Ann Hager (Zerhusen), 64 of Edgewood, KY passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Viola (Studer) Zerhusen. She is survived by her loving family: husband Ron, daughter Carrie (Trevor) Fugazzi, son Brendan (Michelle) Hickey, step son Brian Hager (Amanda), grandchildren: Mitchell, Kailyn, Patrick, Leah, Nolan, Wyatt, and Wesley, sisters: Barbara Zerhusen, Donna (Brad) Slabaugh, sister in law Lynda (Paul) Lueders, and loving nieces and nephews. Patti was an advocate in finding treatments for Parkinson’s Disease and active with People Living with Parkinsons (PLWP). She raised money and awareness in organizing events, such as the annual golf outing. She was a talented artist and photographer who enjoyed creating pieces for her family and friends. Her and her husband started and successfully ran a small graphic design business for many years. She enjoyed gardening and under her green thumb her gardens thrived with vibrant colors and arrangements. Patti was soft spoken, gentle, and kind with a zest for life. She loved spending her time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. Patti was a sucker for ice cream and peanut butter cups and never turned them down. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Middendorf Funeral Home 3312 Madison Pike Ft. Wright, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will take place to following day, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Joseph Church in Crescent Springs at 11 AM.
