James "Jim" W. Scheck

James “Jim” W. Scheck, age 81, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of 59 years to Suzanne Scheck (nee Kenney). Loving father of Mary Lynn Hearn (Joe), Lisa Scheck, Tina Koch (Jerry), and Trisha Zimmerman (Jay). Beloved grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Willard and Emma Scheck and brother, Richard Scheck. Jim was a graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. He worked as a Computer Operator for General Motors for 37 years and retired. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Saint Cecilia Church 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery.
