Gilbert "Gil" Ervin Parton

Gilbert “Gil” Ervin Parton, 73, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. He was the loving husband of Esther Parton (nee Rupert); loving father to Kelly Finke (Tony) and Sarah Hunt (Kevin). Gil also leaves behind his grandchildren Heath Parton and Brady Hunt. He is preceded in death by his brother Albert Parton (Patricia).Gil served in the United States Air Force and then began his career in Education. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, 3312 MADISON PIKE, FT. WRIGHT, KY 41017. Services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 326 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41011. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery, in Ft. Mitchell.
