Gerald "Gerry" Groneman

Gerald “Gerry” G. Groneman, age 95, of Ft. Wright, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of the late Loretta Kluemper Groneman. Loving father of Pam Baker (Bill) of Independence, Terry Groneman of Ft. Wright, Mark Groneman (Kathy) of Florence, Ed Groneman (Tammy) of Erlanger, and Allen Groneman of Covington. Gerry was the loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Betty Lou Wehmeyer, of Cold Spring. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Kathleen Webster and Virginia Brungs; and brother, Allen J. Groneman. Gerry was a graduate of Covington Catholic and then served in the United Stated Army during WWII. He then enrolled at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Pharmacy where he earned his degree. He was a long time member of St. Agnes Church, NKY Pharmacist Association, and the 36th Division Association. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, 3312 MADISON PIKE, FT. WRIGHT, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Saint Agnes Church and will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Mother of God Cemetery, in Ft.
