Robert Eugene Rosing

Robert (Bob) Eugene Rosing, age 83 of Crestview Hills, Ky passed away on July 10.  He was born in Covington, Ky to the late Robert and Wilma "Billie" (Carrico) Rosing.  He was the loving husband to Carolyn (Riesser) for 57 years, and the loving father of Michael (Jing) of Shanghai, China, Nancy (David) Pugliano of Villa Hills, Tom (Stephanie) of Villa Hills, Kathy (Dan) Crowe of Centerville, Ohio and Bobby of Louisville.  Beloved "Papa" to 9 grandchildren:  Tony, Angela, Holly, Evan, Amy, Lauren, Maxwell, Remington and Brooklyn.  He also leaves behind his brother Don (JoAnn) and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and close friends.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Marie Blom.  Bob graduated from Covington Latin School and attended Villa Madonna College.  He was a member of the U.S. Marines Corps and served proudly during the Korean War.  Bob began his career with Welfare Finance and retired as Executive Vice President from the Savings & Loan Data Corp.  Bob was a long time member of St. Pius X Church where he was a member of the School Board and the Holy Name Society.  Bob enjoyed golf and thoroughbred racing.  He owned and bred several thoroughbred race horses.  He was a loving and generous man whose greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.  Visitation will be held at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood KY on Friday, July 15 from 10:00AM - Noon with a mass of Christian burial following in the church.  Burial at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia.  Memorial suggestions:  the Parish Kitchen, 3629 Church St., Covington, KY 41015, or the  Mary Rose Mission, 272 Main St., Florence, Ky 41042,  or to Covington Latin School.
