Vicente Faustino Giglio, age 89, of Fort Mitchell, died Sunday, July 3, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, the prayers of those who knew and loved him, and the many angels that comforted him in his last moments on earth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Magdelena and Emilio Giglio, son Vic Giglio, sister Rose Pavlovsky, brother Gus, and many other friends and family who welcomed him at the gates of Heaven. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Betty, sisters Connie Moser and Marie Back, sister-in-law Mary Lou, brother-in-law Gerry (Lois) Biedenbender, children Emil (Terre) Giglio, Lyn (Jim) Crawford, Michael (Joan) Giglio, Marianne (Rick) Dammert, and Grace (Thomas) Neltner, 7 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as the kind staff at Carmel Manor who provided excellent care. Vicente came to America from Argentina in 1945. He had great pride in our country, and an abundant appreciation for all of God’s blessings. He taught us all to value faith, family and friends. His favorite word was relax, but he only did so after all obligations of work and family were complete. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, in Fort Mitchell. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, in Fort Mitchell. Following the gravesite service everyone will be welcomed back to Blessed Sacrament Undercroft to continue celebrating Vicente’s Life. Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft.
