Frances B. Sommerkamp

Frances Sommerkamp (nee Nierman), 86, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was the loving wife of 65 years to William. Beloved mother of Jeanne Frost (Glenn), David (Dee), Tom, Jim (Kim), Mary Kay Woodruff (John). Devoted grandmother of thirteen, and great-grandmother of eight. Dear sister of Paul Nierman (Dorothy) and the late Billy Nierman, Marianne Wilmhoff, Ruth Sommerkamp, Lucille Otto and Matt Nierman. Frannie had a beautiful, happy spirit and shared her smile with everyone she met. Throughout her life, she loved music, golfing, playing cards, bowling, her faith, and spending time with family and friends. Her smile was contagious and her beautiful spirit and laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Friday at St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Highway, Ft. Wright, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 am. Burial Mother of God Cemetery. Middendorf Funeral Home , Ft. Wright is assisting the family.
