Katie Stewart

Katie Stewart, 22, of Lexington, formally of Park Hills, KY passed away on Saturday, March, 19, 2016. She was the loving daughter of Stephanie Freihofer (Mike Pfennig) and Thomas Stewart (Rebecca). Katie was the loving twin sister of Madeline Stewart, and dear sister to Sam Stewart, Jack Stewart, Sarah Stewart, and her step brothers Joe and Nick Pfennig. Katie also leaves behind her maternal grandparents Pamela and Fred Friehofer; and her loving boyfriend Will Anderson. Katie was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in 2012, where she was School President and Prom Queen. She was continuing her education at Transylvania University. Her vibrant red hair was the spark of her passion; Katie was one of a kind. She was a friend to many and enjoyed working at the Crank & Boom Ice Cream Lounge and Cup of Commonwealth in Lexington. She was able to connect with so many through managing both companies (and her kitty Korra's) social media. She will be missed by all. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Saint Agnes Church from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow the visitation and start at 7:00 p.m. MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, FT.
