Elizabeth "Liz" J. Mairose

Elizabeth “Liz” J. Mairose, age 83, of Ft. Mitchell, KY passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016. Liz is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Alfred Mairose. She was “mom” to eight children, Tom Mairose, Steve (Mary) Mairose, Mary Beth Mairose, Michelle (Dave) Kline, Mike (Bari) Mairose, Jerry Mairose, Terry (Sue) Mairose and Alan (Anne) Mairose; “Me-maw” to 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and “Mama Liz” to countless others she cared for. Dear sister of Bernie (Eileen) Lunnemann and Bill (Phyllis) Lunnemann. She loved her family and friends and was known for her kind nature and good sense of humor. Liz was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in 1950. A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 MADISON PIKE, FT. WRIGHT, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at Blessed Sacrament Church at 12 noon. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. Memorial contributions are suggested to Rosedale Green 4250 Glenn Ave. Covington, KY 41015 and/or Blessed Sacrament Church 2409 Dixie Hwy. Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
