Joseph T. Maloney Jr, 81, of Crestview Hills Kentucky passed away on December 10, 2015. Joe was born on February 21, 1934 in Covington, KY. He graduated from St. Henry High School and had a successful career in the wine and spirits industry. He served for many years as council member and mayor for the City of Crestview Hills. In retirement Joe took on the role of “consultant” to any audience large or small. He was blessed with many lifelong friends and was always eager to make new ones. Joe would tell you that his greatest accomplishment in life was his family. Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Virginia (Quinn) Maloney; his parents Joseph and Loretta Maloney and his siblings Mary and Martin Maloney. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Middendorf; his four children Susan M. Maloney (William O’Neal); J. Timothy (Tracey)Maloney ;Michael S. (Melissa) Maloney; Meghan (David) Bechstein; His eight grandchildren Timmy and Sarah Maloney; Holly and Noelle O’Neal; Shea and Barry Maloney and Olivia and Ava Bechstein; and his new grandchildren by marriage, Madeline, Allyson, Brice and Kylee Fountain. Visitation Wednesday from 4-8pm at Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 12:00pm at Mother of God Church. Burial St. Mary Cemetery.
