Norma Lou Swecker

Norma Lou Abbott Swecker, 79, of Edgewood, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. She was the loving mother of Brad Swecker (Maria), of Villa Hills, and Diana Mayleben (Ronald), of Edgewood. Loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren. Dear sister of James Abbott (Anne) of Etowah, TN. Norma is preceded in death by her beloved husband David Benjamin Swecker and her grandson, Steven Charles Mayleben. She worked for the Northern Kentucky Water District for 27 years. Norma was a very active member at St. Pius X Church where she served on the bereavement committee. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and the Cancer Survivors Support Group. She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends and most of all her grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11,    2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Saint Pius X Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial at Floral Hills Cemetery.
