Rev. Luis Leon-Saenz

Reverend Luis ngel de Jess Len-Senz, 61, entered into eternal life on All Souls Day, November 2, 2015. Father Leon, a native of Costa Rica, was ordained to the priesthood by His Excellency, Most Reverend Roger J. Foys on June 22, 2013. Since his ordination Father has faithfully ministered to the predominately Hispanic parish of Cristo Rey, Erlanger, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his father, Rafael Len and his brother, Enrique Len. Father Leon is survived by his mother, Maria Senz de Len, his sister, Dr. Ligia Len-Senz and two brothers, Alfonso Len and Orlando Len. He will be greatly missed by those whom he served. Visitations will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Cristo Rey Parish, Erlanger, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.; followed by a visitation at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption beginning at 7:00 p.m. concluding with a Vigil Service at 9:00 p.m. An additional visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Cathedral from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Pius X Cemetery, Erlanger, Kentucky at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Seminarian Education Fund for the Diocese of Covington, c/o 1125 Madison Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41011.
