Joseph A. Pitocco, 64, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, passed away on September 15, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood , Kentucky. Loving husband of 28 years to Jane Pitocco and beloved brother to Anthony (Kathy) Pitocco. Preceded in death by his parents Michael and Mary Pitocco as well as siblings Michael (Claire), Mark, and Mary Rose Pitocco. Cherished by his many loving nieces and nephews including Christina (Doug) Battson, Alisa (Adam) Weber, Nicholas, Anthony and Mark (Megan) Pitocco, and great-nephew Luca Weber. He also leaves behind many other extended family members and dear friends too numerous to count. Joe was a practicing attorney in the Cincinnati area for 38 years. He enjoyed his work and respected his fellow attorneys, judges, staff and the law itself. He was a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Ohio and Kentucky Bar Associations and the Ohio and Kentucky Supreme Courts. Joe celebrated his Italian heritage as a member of the Mezzo Mezzo Social Club, The Order Sons of Italy, The United Italian Society, and as a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Camp Washington. Joe championed all fund raising activities in support of students working toward their Bachelor Degrees. Visitation services will be Friday September 18 from 5 - 8 pm at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY. Mass of the Christian burial will be Saturday, September 19, at Sacred Heart Church, Camp Washington at 10 am.
