Stanley Charles Werbrich

July 25, 1921 — September 3, 2015

Stanley Charles Werbrich, 94, of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his sons, Denny and Gary Werbrich and by his father Roman and mother Bertha (nee: Zillick). Stan is survived by Alice Werbrich (nee: James), his loving wife of more than 73 years. He is also survived by his children: Gregory Werbrich (Linda), Paula Schanding (Don), JoAnn Werbrich, and Susan Gerwe (Larry). He was a loving grandfather to 12 and great-grandfather to 16. Stan served his country in the United States Air Corps during World War II. He later worked for Ford Motor Company, retiring after 29 years. He devoted years of service to Senior Citizens of NKY and St Charles Care Center. The family would also like to acknowledge the love and attention he received at Rosedale Green. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Erlanger, followed by a reception at the church. There will be no visitation. Entombment will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright. Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to: Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
