William H. Schneider

William Henry Schneider, 88, of Ft. Wright, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 13, 2015. He is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Ann Schneider, and his brother, Robert G. Schneider. Bill is survived by Jo Ann Schrenker Schneider, his loving wife of nearly 58 years. He is also survived by his children: Lisa A. Zembrodt (Paul), Michael W. Schneider, Kevin A. Schneider (Lisa), David A. Schneider, and Amy M. Edwards (Sean). He leaves behind a brother, Donald Schneider (Anita). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Brandon Zembrodt (Janie), Kristen Imbus (Daniel), Andy, Laura, Chaz, and Alexis Schneider, Spencer, Alex, Chase, and Preston Edwards, as well as, his 5 Great-Grandchildren. Bill will be remembered as a generous man who gave tirelessly of himself. He served his country in the United States Army. As a civic leader, he served as a member of the Ft. Wright City Council, Board of Adjustors, Director of the Salvage Board, and Disaster Board. As a devout Catholic, Bill answered the call to serve the poor and less fortunate as a member as a member and officer in the St. Vincent de Paul District Council and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society at St. Agnes Church. Additionally, he was a lector, server, member of the Holy Name Society and respected leader at St. Agnes Parish. Bill also served as a former director of Welcome House. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015, at St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, at 4:00 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Tuesday at Mother of God Cemetery. MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, FT. WRIGHT, is assisting the family.
