John G. Ziegler

March 4, 1934 — June 4, 2015

John G. Ziegler, 81, of Edgewood, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He is survived by Marlene Huesman Ziegler, his wife of 55 years. He will be missed by his daughters, Elizabeth Schwebler (Michael) and Christina Ziegler. He leaves behind his granddaughter, Stephanie Schwebler, grandson, Justin Schwebler and great granddaughter, Hazel Brandner. John served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Electrical Engineering and later, graduated with a master's degree from Xavier University. John retired from the Cummins Corporation after more than 30 years of service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, Kentucky 41017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to: Care Net Pregnancy Services, P.O Box 17688, Covington, Kentucky 41017 (www.choselifenky.org) or a charity of your choice.
