Raymond G. Dickerson

Raymond G. Dickerson, 84, formerly of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2015. He was a graduate of Ohio Mechanics Institute, where he earned the highest scholastic award in his program. Ray served his country in the United States Army and in the United States Navy Reserves. In 1991, he retired from DuPont as a mechanical engineer. Ray was also instrumental in establishing a perpetual adoration chapel on the grounds St. Agnes Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lucille Bohman Dickerson, as well as, his brother Eugene Dickerson. Ray was a loving father to: Michele Rosemeyer (Don), Peggy Kaiser, Leah Dickerson (Tony Coleman), Mimi Drees (Mike), Daniel Dickerson (Julie), and Stephen Dickerson. He also leaves behind a sister, Shirley Campagna, and a sister-in-law, Elaine Dickerson. Ray will be greatly missed by his 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, Kentucky 41017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, FT. WRIGHT, is assisting the family.
