Robert "Bob" Hackman

Robert "Bob" Joseph Hackman, 87, formerly of Ft. Wright, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2015. Bob served his country in the United States Army during World War II, he was a former Ft. Wright City Councilman, Past President of the Lookout Heights Civic Club, and was active at the former Campbell Lodge. He is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Hackman and sister, Mary Catherine Hackman. Bob will be greatly missed by his wife of nearly 65 years, Thelma Spellmeyer Hackman, as well as his son, Jerome "Jerry" Hackman (Janey). He also leaves behind his sister, Laverne Boing, of Jacksonville, Florida. He was the proud grandfather of Susanne Kreger (Chase), Erica Hackman, and Samantha Hackman. Bob was anticipating the birth of his first great grandchild. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, beginning at 4:30 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright. MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, FT.
