Mary Jean Warken

Mary Jean Warken, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, George; her son Douglas; her parents, Otto and Albertha Amann, and her brothers; Tommy, James, and Donald Amann. She is survived by her sons: Dennis (Jean) of Florence, Kevin of Independence, and Barry of Laurel, Maryland; her daughter, Rebecca (Stephen) of Ludlow. She will also be greatly missed by her brother, David Amann (Marybeth) of Florence; her grandchildren: Alison (Stephen) Braun, Matthew (Maria) Warken, and her great granddaughter, Sophia. Jean has donated her body to science. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and Family are invited to gather at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME, FT. WRIGHT, is assisting the family.
