Evelyn Elfers

Evelyn Elfers, age 92, of Covington, passed away on February 18, 2015, with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Robert G. Elfers. Loving mother of Robert R. Elfers (Jackie), Ray Elfers (Marcia), Dan Elfers (Kathi), Joe Elfers (Karen), Pat Elfers (Barb), and Teri Wehry (Mark). She also leaves behind her sister, Ruth Dehne. She was the beloved grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and she leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Harry and Ralph Zint. Evelyn was a friend to many and a life time member of Saint Augustine Church, in Covington. She was a long time volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital, a member of the St. Monica Society, the Hilltoppers, and the Pathfinder club. Visitation Saturday, February 21, 2015, from 9 -11 am at St. Augustine Church, in Covington. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 am. Burial at St. John Cemetery.
