Rose Elizabeth Roedig

Rose Elizabeth Roedig, age 90, of Orlando, FL, was called home to Jesus on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at VITAS Hospice facility in Winter Garden, FL after a short illness. She was born on February 29, 1924 in Brookville, IN to Frank and Martha (Mueller) Stoll. On June 5, 1965, she married John (Jack) L. Roedig of Cincinnati, Ohio and sadly he died April 27, 1981. Rose is survived by her son, Timothy John Roedig, daughter-in-law Jamie Blanchard Roedig, grandson Cort Alexander Roedig and granddaughter Eve Nicole Roedig ; all of Orlando, FL. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, an older brother Edward Stoll of Brookville, IN and an older sister Mildred (Stoll) Homan of Coldwater, OH. She leaves behind 17 nieces and nephews. She and Jack raised their son, Tim, in Fort Wright, KY and were members of St. Agnes Church until the year 2000, when she moved to Orlando, FL to be with Tim and his young family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Wright, KY. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
