Virginia "Jinny" Marie Hiltz (nee Altevers), 93, of Lakeside Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence T. Hiltz, MD, and her brother, Robert Altevers. She is survived by her children: L. Thomas Hiltz (Francie), Stephen W. Hiltz, MD (Ellen), Jeanne Anne Whalen, Kenneth A. Hiltz (Lori), Marilyn C. Latta (Allen), and Mark J. Hiltz (Beth). Jinny will be greatly missed by her 18 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Ft. Mitchell, and a member of the Women's Guild of St. Elizabeth Hospital. Jinny volunteered many hours bringing communion to those who were in the hospital. She will be remembered as a loving and compassionate woman who had a great love for her family, friends and her Church. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Ft. Mitchell. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
