Joan C. Schulte

Joan Claire Schulte (nee Hils) age 82, of Lakeside Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2014. She was a loving and generous person whose life was filled with the enjoyment of her family and neighbors. She was the daughter of M. Henry and Bertha Hils and the loving wife of the late William H. Schulte. She was preceded in death by her sons Christopher, David, and John Schulte. Also preceding her in death were her beloved sisters Ellen May Goeke, Flora Schnorbus, Ann Welch, Mary Rose Hils, and her beloved brothers Reverend Henry Hils and Clement Hils. Surviving her are her children Dr. William Schulte(Rebecca), Mary Moser(Kevin), Katherine Schulte(James Pappas), Dr. Martina Schulte(Dr. Jay Want), and Jude Schulte(Amy Yandles). She is also survived by her sister Joyce Blanchet, and her brothers, Jude Hils, M. David Hils, and Martin Hils. The joys of her life were her grandchildren Joseph, Philip, Patrick, and Katherine Schulte, Kevin Elizabeth, and David Moser, and Taylor, Ellen and Anne Want, and her great granddaughter Ava Scheyer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 8:30 am to 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, in Fort Mitchell. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am.
