Kenneth Paul Ulrich, 52, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Ken worked for the City of Covington, Kentucky, for 28 years. He was a former member and officer of the union that served city employees. He was also a proud member of the Nation Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Ken is preceded in death by his parents: Fred and Mary Ulrich, and his sisters: Elaine Feldhaus and Jan Power. He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Stephens, and his brother, David Ulrich. He will also be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews: Noelle Power, Michael Power, William Power, and Megan Ulrich. Visitation will be on Monday, December 1, 2014, at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, Kentucky 41017, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Church, 627 Pike Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011. Burial will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to: American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
