Ace Richard Byrd

Ace Richard Byrd, 66, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. Ace worked as a truck driver for Ryder Logistics and Transport. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and a member of the Lions Club. Ace served his county in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen K. Byrd. Ace is survived by his partner and companion, Margie Deubel; his children Wayne Byrd (Sherri) and Tina Morris (Eric). He was the proud grandfather of: Heather Byrd, Samantha Byrd, Annie Morris Angel, Joshua Morris and Amanda Morris, Timothy and Tyler McIntosh and Emily Deubel. He will also be missed by his 5 Great-Grandchildren. Ace was a beloved friend to many and had the ability to talk with anyone; he never knew a stranger. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, Kentucky 41017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Eulogies at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.
