Rolfe Bernard "Bud" Bloemer

Rolfe Bernard "Bud" Bloemer, 70, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Bud retired from General Electric Aircraft Division, Evendale, Ohio, in 1997. He was an avid golfer and spent much of his retirement playing courses in Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralf A. Bloemer and Eleanor F. (Rickling) Bloemer, of Bellevue, KY. Bud is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda (Adams) Bloemer. He was a loving father to Cara Ann Hamlin and proud grandfather of Connor Hamlin, both of Cleveland, TN. Bud will be greatly missed by his sister, DelCaire (Jack) Grosser, Ft. Thomas, KY, and brothers: Paul (Nancy) Bloemer, Ft. Wright, KY, Joseph Bloemer, Bellevue, KY, and Randy Bloemer, Ft. Thomas, KY. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. Cecilia Church, Independence.
