Mary Mospens Ward

Mary Ward (nee Mospens), 83, of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Mary was the former city clerk for the City of Crescent Park. She was a past president and secretary of the Crescent Park Civic Association, a member of the Newport Elks Auxiliary, and a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge. Mary was active in her church, Immanuel United Church of Christ, Bromley, and a former member of St. Paul Methodist Church, Ft. Thomas. She is preceded in death by her husband Maston Ward. Mary is also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Barnes- Diesman, as well as, her brother, Jack Mospens. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends: Mike Barnes (Debbie), Denny Barnes (Barb), Carl Ward (Norma), Gary Ward (Elaine), Mike Klein (Billie), Jacque Hixson (Bob), Lon Marshall (Sharon), Chuck Marshall (Pam), Dan Marshall (Sue), Jamie Marshall (Reba), Vickie Tomlinson (Jack), Jean Salyers, Sharon Ridgeway, and George Ripberger (Karen). Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, Kentucky 41017. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Bromley.
