Vincent P. Gohs

Vincent P. Gohs, 83, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2014. Vince was a member of the Ft. Mitchell Fire Department for 55 years. He was inducted into the Kentucky Firefighter's Hall of Fame, named Firefighter of the Year, a Kentucky Colonel, and is honored on the Ft. Mitchell Wall of Honor. Vince is survived by his loving wife, Patty Gohs (nee Wilson). He was a loving father to Vince (Lori) Gohs, Rick (Sue) Gohs, Patty Jo (Bob) Zerhusen, and Tim (Nancy) Gohs. Vince will be missed by his 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, KY. Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of donations to: Diocesan Catholic Children's Home, P.O. Box 17007, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017 or Ft. Mitchell Fire Department, 2355 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
