James W. Moore

November 22, 1931 — May 7, 2014

James W. Moore Jr., 82, of Covington, KY passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood, KY. James was a Veteran and served his country in the United States Marines, and after serving his country he worked for 40 years at Cincinnati Bell before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion in Vevay, IN, and a member of the Covington Firefighters Association. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara Ann Moore (Nee Waters), and his sister Maryln Gordon. James is survived by his beloved children Kelley Lee Walker (James), and Scott Todd Moore (Joy), grandchildren; Kyle Scott Moore, Matthew James Moore, Jacob Dylan Moore, Lindsey Walker, Jennifer Nicole Walker, and 2 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 10am until 12noon at Middendorf Funeral Home in Fort Wright, KY. A Service will be held following the visitation at 12 noon at Middendorf Funeral Home. The burial will take place at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington, KY. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice Facility at 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
