Amy Elsbernd Stepp

Amy Elsbernd Stepp, 41, of Erlanger, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2014. Amy was a teacher and member of the Kentucky Education Association. She loved the game of volleyball and coached several teams. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin "Geek" Elsbernd and Bobbie Ann Kaiser Elsbernd. She was a loving wife to Jeff Stepp and a loving mother to Maria Stepp. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Marsha Stepp. Amy will be missed by her sisters and brother: Karen (Brent) Wilson, Kathy Webster, Barb (Mark) Haddox, Diane (Rick) Steffen, Tracy (Rick) Bishop, Mary (Dan) Hitzfield, Laura (Rick) Likens, Julie (Joe) Carnes, and Alvin (Renee) Elsbernd. She was a loving aunt to 22 nieces and nephews and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, Kentucky 41017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 11, 2014 at St. Augustine Church, 1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington, Kentucky 41014, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials take the form of donations to: Maria Stepp Educational Fund c/o any Fifth Third Bank location.
