Marian A. Remke

Marian A. Remke (nee Huser) loving wife of the late Walter W. Remke, passed away peacefully at her home on March 31, 2014. The daughter of Henry and Margaret (nee Daly) Huser was born June 7, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH. On May 17, 1952 she married her best friend and love of her life. They were blessed with 60 wonderful years of marriage and had six children. Left to mourn her passing are Peggy (Jimmie) Berger of Cincinnati, Bill (Brooke) Remke of Independence, Nancy (Gene) Daniels of Walton, Kathleen Hall of Crestview Hills and Jim (Missy) Remke of Woodbury, MN, 20 loving grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debbie Remke and brother Jim Huser. Marian was always busy. She worked endlessly in her flowerbeds, shopping at Kenwood, cooking for her family and her endless list of friends. But nothing could compare to the love she had for Walter. He was the center of her world and she his. Rarely did you see one without the other. Their mutual love and respect for each other was an inspiration to all. United again for all eternity. A Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 from 5pm until 7pm at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 7pm at St. Pius X Church. The burial will take place in private at Mother of God Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Diocese Catholic Childrens Home (D.C.C.H) at P.O.
