William J. Grimes, Sr.

William Joseph Grimes, Sr., 89, of Ft. Wright, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and numerous sales associations. William was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Marie Grimes and his sister, Betty Ann McCabe. He is survived by his children, Kathryn A. Carson-Tallen and William J. Grimes, Jr. (Leslie). William was also the proud grandfather of Phillip Carson, Andrew Grimes and Colleen Grimes. He also leaves behind a brother, Donald Grimes. Visitation will take place, Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Ft. Mitchell, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of donations to: Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, Kentucky 41042.
