Richard Oehler

Richard O. Oehler, 79, of Ft. Mitchell, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Ft. Mitchell and had a great love for his boyhood parish of St. John, Covington. He also enjoyed golf and fishing. Richard leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Marilyn Hoffer Oehler. He is also survived by his 7 children: Susan (James) Leake, John (Eileen) Oehler, Amy (Walker) Gollar, Katy (Tim) Mullins, Molly (Brian) Weaver, Joseph Oehler and Jenny Oehler. He will be greatly missed by his sister, Marlene Miller, his 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Ft. Mitchell, KY at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to: Mary Rose Mission, 272 Main Street, Florence, KY 41042.
