George W. McCain

George W. McCain, 80, of Ft. Wright, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013. George was a member of the Masons, Sons of the American Revolution, and a member of First Families of Kentucky. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is survived by Donna McCain, his wife of 54 years. George also leaves behind his son, Steven (Pamela) McCain and daughter, Becky (Doug) Earley. He was the proud grandfather of Joshua McCain, Amanda McCain Oaks, Doug (D.J.) Earley, Jr., and Ryan Earley. He will also be missed by his 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to: Immanuel United Methodist Church, 2551 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, KY 41017.
