Edward A Hunkemoeller

Edward A. Hunkemoeller, 76, of Fort Mitchell, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2013 in the comfort of his home with his family at his side. Ed was a retired teacher and was a member of the Kentucky Education Association, the Kenton County Retired Teachers Association, and the Kentucky Colonels. Ed loved exercising, taking art lessons, and traveling with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his late parents Edward J. and Dorothea Hunkemoeller. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Judy Hunkemoeller, beloved children Greg Hunkemoeller (Theresa), Ann Wright (Terry), Laura Boggs (Curt), and Gail Lawlor (Jim), and his grandchildren Christina Lauer, Haley and Lauren Wright, Brady Boggs, and Andrew, Brittany, and Brandon Lawlor, and his brother-in-law Jim Hamberg (Joyce). A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Mother of God Church in Covington, KY with a reception to follow in the church undercroft. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Mother of God Church at 119 West Sixth Street, Covington, KY 41011, or to Parish Kitchen at P.O. Box 1234, Covington, KY 41012, or to The Point/ Arc of Northern Kentucky at 104 West Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011.
